We've got a kicker!
At work today, I felt one good hard kick in the middle of my tummy. It caught me off guard and made me startle. The moment was shared with one of my coworkers who seemed to fondly remember the first time she "got kicked" too.

I take that back...Miller has felt the baby move! While we were watching TV, I started to feel some pretty significant pokes on the left side of my abdomen. I asked Miller to see if he could feel it. After another good poke, he looked surprised and said, "Was that the baby?!" Finally, we have father-child contact. Good luck kiddo, this is going to be one wild ride!

On the eve of 22 weeks, nothing really new going on...just rolling along.
I now weigh 167 pounds! This is the most I've weighed in my life. People "in the know" seem to think that I look about right for being almost 5 months pregnant. I feel very comfortable size-wise.
Other than a spring cold bogging me down, I've been feeling great. The baby's been giving me little bumps and pokes, and possibly some hicups; nothing strong enough for Miller to feel yet.
Next check-up appt. is on June 1st.

Of course, Miller came along for the appointment as well. Mr. Cool was laughing/ giggling through much of the u/s. His enthusiasm was quite obvious when the tech showed us it was a boy. I was ecstatic to know that his growth is all normal.
Both of us were in awe at the detail we were able to see on the screen. We saw the fingers, toes, facial
