Symptoms are pretty much the same. Still craving peanut butter. Anxiously awaiting the ultrasound! (5 days away!)

On Saturday I made another trip to the store for new bras. I decided to go the cheap route and dig through the mess at TJMaxx. For the first time in my life I am looking for D-cup bras. These things just look silly. Since my rib cage is not getting any larger, I still need my regular number size- only the cups are bigger. The problem is that almost all of the D-cup bras at the store were gigantor. (Most of them were 42D+). Many of the cups on these bras would fit comfortably on my head as a hat. (No, I didn't actally try this in the fitting room- or the store.) Most of the D-cup bras were from the "Delta Burke" line. They were all very much full-coverage bras for full-figured ladies. They were all quite large and designed with completly over-the-top embelishments (lace, scroll-work, dangling beads, etc). Do women really feel sexy in these wedding cake bras? I guess it takes all types. After a great deal of effort, I left with two big 'ol black meshy bras.
I've managed to spend most of the weekend sleeping/ lounging again. Just what I needed! A little yoga and some Valentine's chocolate should wrap up this one nicely!
P.S. Last night while I was falling asleep, I gently pushed my hand over my uterus. I felt something like a flutter inside. I tried again, but didn't find it. Could it be the little one??? Or maybe just gas?! Let's hope for the first.

My daily routine is starting to look something like this:
- Wake up and shower
- Throw up (either before or after breakfast)
- Feel nauseous all morning; not have an appetite for anything; feel like I want to hurl when I smell anything that has even the slightest foul odor
- Finally devleop an appetite around 1pm and eat as much as possible
- Feel exhausted after I eat- all I want to do is NAP!
- Feel nauseous all afternoon
- Almost throw up when I get home/ collapse on the couch
- Determine the least repulsive food item and force it down
- "Watch" TV for an hour or two
- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
I'm on week 7. Only 5 more weeks until the 2nd trimester (aka when things supposedly start getting better). Oh man.

worst morning sickness yet. almost threw up about 5 times this morning, then DID throw up at work. barely ate any breakfast, but had a big ol' calorie-heavy lunch. after work i went to the store for new bras and stretchy pants. my old stuff is not getting the job done anymore! 16 days and counting until the ultrasound. last year, the doctor estimated that embyonic growth stopped at about 7 weeks and 3 days. i feel very much pregnant this time, unlike last time. staying positive and hoping for a nice strong heartbeat on the u/s!!! happy valentine's day!

I always wondered what morning sickness felt like...now I wish I didn't know! Whoever called it morning sickness was being modest. More like all-day sickness. I woke up Monday morning and felt like I was having a hypoglycemic attack (low blood sugar...I've been plagued by these since I was about 7). I was dizzy, nauseous, and had hot chills. About 15 minutes later, I threw up. That's the only time I've thrown up this week, but the nausea hasn't really left. My appetite is all over the place, so when I am hungry, I EAT! It seems that if I eat lots of smaller meals throughout the day, the nausea stays down a bit more. Must be related to blood sugar levels. At the current moment, I'm either need to eat fast or I'm going to ralph.
P.S. Steve and Kara brought me some "Preggie Pops" to help battle morning sickness. Hilarious, and yet genius (plus they make my tummy feel better!) Thanks for the pops and the flowers doodz!

I been socked with a nasty cold. Crap. I was really nervous when I started getting a fever, so I called the 24 help line at my medical clinic. The nurse said Tylenol is OK to take, so I did so sparingly. I managed to keep the fever below 101 with lots of liquid, a cool shower, and a little Tylenol. My fever hasn't returned today, but my energy is still in the dumps. My muscles ache because of my cold, but my boobs ache worse than ever. The "what to expect" books indicate that my lactating organs are getting ready for milk production. I'm finally starting to understand the whole "jugs" term. I always found the term to be insulting, but I think I'm starting to appreciate and embrace the idea now. Yep, I'm losing it. I think the fever has affected my brain. Back to napping now.

Oh yeah, I never posted an expected due date!
The first day of my last period was December 24. This means that conception likely took place during the second week of January. This would mean that I am in my 5th week (counting starts at the last period), and 3rd week of gestation. Expected due date is during the first week of October. This puts us slightly ahead of the time frame we had just one year ago, completely by coincidence!
Working with the toddle-oddlers has been wearing me out! I love my work tremendously, but I could do without all the multi-colored nose drippings. I wash my hands a hundred times a day, but I guess that gets counteracted by the thousands of sneezes and coughs that are directed right into my face. Here I am, at home, sick again! I've been sick so many times this winter. I'm a bit more worried this time, because I don't want Pepe's development to be affected. My body aches and my throat hurts. The worst part is that I can't take any meds. I'll just have to hydrate and rest to battle it out. PMA PMA PMA!!! (positive mental attitude)
